Giulio Masotti

An architect by training, Giulio Masotti founded digital fabrication start-up Wood-Skin and interaction creative studio Mammafotogramma. He graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, with exchanges to ETSA in Granada, Spain and McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

He has been a presenter at FROG’s Creative Morning in Milan, Politecnico di Milano, North Modern in Copenhagen and University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. His work has been exhibited worldwide at venues such as the Venice Biennale, Triennale di Milano, Salone del Mobile, Centre Pompidou, Toronto Film Festival, Cannes.

Giulio has been featured in Wired Magazine’s ‘Top 100 Most Promising Entrepreneurs in Italy’ and was selected to be part of Audi’s Innovative Thinking Network since 2015. His work from both Wood-Skin and Mammafotogramma has been featured on top design publications such as Fast Company, Wired, Domus, Dezeen, Abitare, Behance’s first publication entitled Super Modified and Wallpaper.
