Secretary General of CRT Foundation and Managing Director OGR
Massimo Lapucci is Secretary General (CEO position) of “CRT Foundation”, a foundation of banking origin based in Turin (endowment under direct management of about 3.0 bn euro) and Secretary General of “CRT Foundation for Growth and Development”, a foundation primarily focused on venture philanthropy and impact investing. He is also Chair of the European Foundation Centre in Bruxelles, the network of institutional philanthropy which unites over 350 members from nearly 40 countries, including the USA. As EFC chair Massimo has promoted the core team that published the first “Manifesto for European Philantropy” as well as he led a number of activities for strengthening Partnership for both EFC and EVPA (European Venture Philantrophy Association) with Int’l excellences in social impact like The Bridgespan Group. Massimo is also Managing Director of OGR, an SPV founded by CRT Foundation to transform a former large industrial building (about 360k ft2 ) in the centre of Turin into the largest Venture Philantrophy initiative in Europe.

OGR is creating an ecosystem for contemporary culture, art, research and entrepreneurs in partnership with Tier-1 global excellences like Tate in London for Art and Techstars for startup accelerations among others.

Massimo has extensive international experience as a board member for public and private companies in various sectors (incl. infrastructures, banking, financial services) and nonprofit organizations in the EU and the Americas, including the advisory board of the ISI Global Foundation for big data in Turin and New York. Massimo is also Vice President of the Social Impact Agenda for Italy, a working group connected to the international Global Social Impact Investment Steering Group. From 2006 he is a World Fellow at Yale University, USA.
