Peter has been the Director of Blackstone LaunchPad at UCC since its inception in 2016. This is a cross-campus entrepreneurship initiative that supports all forms of venture creation by UCC students, staff and alumni.

The majority of Peter's career has been spent in the fields of either enterprise development or investment services.

He previously managed the New Frontiers Programme, which is Ireland's largest entrepreneur development programme.

He also spent five years in the Middle East as Corporate Services Manager of Bahrain International Investment Park, the Kingdom of Bahrain's first international class business park, where he supported indigenous businesses and multinational corporations.

He has also worked for the Irish Exporters Association, NovaUCD and CorkBIC.

He is a former Chairperson of the Bahrain Irish Business Network and is also a former member of the Governing Body of University College Cork.
